Lunar New Year, also known as the Spring Festival in China is now one of the five most celebrated festivals in the world. During this festival, families reunite over traditions like celebratory dinner, sweeping away bad fortune, fireworks and watching the ceremonial lion dance. For children, the gift of positive wishes and red envelopes filled with money are the highlight of New Year’s Day.

The lion dance is a traditional celebration for the holiday bringing prosperity and good luck for the upcoming year.
